Playful, imaginative sessions designed for young minds and bodies. Building confidence, body awareness, and mindfulness through stories, games, and creative movement.
Children today face pressures that previous generations never knew — constant screen time, packed schedules, academic stress, and less unstructured play. Kids Yoga offers a counterbalance. It gives children tools to build body awareness, develop emotional intelligence, cultivate focus, and grow in confidence — all in a space that feels like play.
Children are natural yogis. Watch a toddler move and you'll see perfect squats, joyful backbends, and an innate ability to be fully present. Kids Yoga doesn't need to "teach" yoga so much as it keeps this natural wisdom alive as they grow.
"If every child in the world was taught yoga, we would have world peace within one generation."
— Often attributed to the Dalai Lama
Our Kids Yoga classes (ages 4–12) are built around imagination, movement, and joy. Every session includes:
Lion's breath, cobra pose, downward dog, and frog hops. Making sounds and becoming animals keeps children engaged and laughing.
Creative stories that incorporate poses — walking through jungles, climbing mountains, swimming through oceans. Their imagination guides the journey.
Double boat, partner tree, back-to-back breathing. Working together builds connection and teamwork — and it's naturally playful.
Simple pranayama made fun — blowing imaginary feathers, humming like bees, breathing like a dragon. Children learn to regulate their energy without realising they're practising breathwork.
Every class ends with a short, guided relaxation. Children learn that stillness is not boring — it's restorative.
Make it fun. If it starts to feel like a chore, stop. Follow their energy. Some days they'll bounce around like frogs for twenty minutes; other days they'll lie in savasana for thirty seconds and be done. Both are perfect.
The children leave calm, centred, and happy — and often ask when they can come back.
