IFRS 17 Benchmarking Survey

A voluntary industry benchmark comparing IFRS 17 results across insurance companies. Participate and receive a customized report benchmarking your results against peers.

Purpose & Overview

The goal is an industry-wide IFRS 17 benchmarking exercise — voluntary participation designed to deliver value through peer comparison. By comparing your loss ratios, CSM margins, discount rate assumptions, and other key metrics against anonymized peers, you'll gain visibility into where your company stands.

How It Works

  1. Data Submission: Provide a defined set of IFRS 17 metrics (we'll share a template — it's lightweight).
  2. Timing: You choose when to submit. Results are compiled on a rolling basis.
  3. Your Report: You receive a personalized benchmarking report comparing your results to the anonymized peer group. Your individual company data is never shared.

Confidentiality & NDA

All data is treated confidentially under a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Your company's data is used solely for the purpose of this survey and is never disclosed to any other participant or third party in identifiable form. An NDA will be provided and signed before any data is exchanged.

Benefits

  • Custom Report: A personalized benchmarking report comparing your IFRS 17 metrics against anonymized industry peers.
  • Peer Insights: Understand where your company sits relative to market — CSM margins, discount rates, loss ratios, and more.
  • Industry Findings: Beyond your personalized insights, anonymized industry findings may be shared later — only if meaningful insights emerge and with your consent.

Next Steps

Would you be open to a quick chat to discuss participation? I'd love to walk you through the process, share the data template, and answer any questions.
